Continuing contributions to charities supporting communities local to our offices, Lowery personnel participated in “Declutter September” – donating 16 bags of clothes and 13 boxes filled with shoes, books and toys.
This social value initiative supported the Hospices of Hope and The Children's Trust shops of Reigate, to maximise fundraising potential. The Hospice of Hope is the only UK charity dedicated to supporting the development of palliative and end-of-life care in South-eastern Europe and The Children’s Trust supports children and young people with brain injury and neuro-disability.
All donated items were checked as being usable and in good condition prior to donation by Lowery’s HSQE and engineering staff with our HSQE team being responsible for delivery.
A local charity representative commented: "That is amazing, thank you so much for collecting these donations for our shops. Without the support of organisations and people like you we would not be able to raise funds for children with a brain injury".
