Lowery successfully completed full SCADA pre-commissioning (end to end test) and new communication unit back to control room, splitting existing feeder F2237 between Ascot and Bracknell to F2084 and F2085, Full RTU SCADA commissioning including all the alarms associated with the HV Switchgear and modules, HV protection (Line Differential Protection - Translay)

Week 44 – Winnersh – installation of 2 advance pla
Lowery complete the full pre-commissioning of HV module, TRU module and DC module including HV, LV and DC switchgear, Transformer Rectifier unit, SCADA RTU, Battery chargers, HV, LV and DC protection settings

Staff Suggestion Scheme Bonus Award
Congratulations go to Lowery Site Supervisor, Nigel Whisselle for earning £500 for his staff suggestion. His suggestion was the purchase of a pallet grab for the Lowery lorry mounted crane which would help prevent safety issues related to the slinging of loads and also to prevent damage to slinging equipment. This was viewed as a positive suggestion by the Company Directors which would assist in making the lifting of pallets of troughing safer.

FORS Conference November 2016 award
Lowery gratefully received an award at the first FORS Members’ Conference on Wednesday 9 November for being the 150th FORS Gold accredited member. The first FORS Members' Conference 2016 will showcased how joining the award winning Fleet Operator Recognition Scheme provides companies with the national best practice standard on safety and environmental issues.
