Eurotunnel Appoints Lowery to Install Permanent Standby Power Supply at the Folkestone Rail Control Centre (RCC)
Grid and power specialist Lowery has been competitively selected to deliver a new standby generator for Eurotunnel’s Folkstone, Kent, RCC (Rail Control Centre). Works will support resilient business operations for Eurotunnel, through the provision of permanent failsafe power functionality. Acting as Principal Designer and Principal Contractor, Lowery will replace two existing rental standby generators with one permanent standby generator incorporated into a local substation circuit.
London Trams Award Lowery Ltd Contract for Replacement of the EM3 Cabinets and LV Substation Boards
Lowery has been competitively selected by Transport for London (TfL) as service provider for carrying out works consisting of the replacement of EM3 cabinets and LV distribution boards across the London Trams network. This replacement and renewal programme will support both resilience of passenger services operations for the tram network and increase public safety around plant assets.
Network Rail Eastern Routes Partnership (ERP): Lowery Appointed to Leeds Sandford St Substation Renewal
ERP Distribution and Plant specialist partner Lowery have been appointed by Network Rail to undertake LV Switchpanel Renewal at Leeds Station. Leeds Station is the busiest railway station in West Yorkshire and the third busiest station on the United Kingdom's railway network outside London. The works will improve operational resilience of the rail network at Leeds station in addition to improving maintainability of the power supply assets in question.
Safety Milestone: Two-Years Injury-Free!
We are incredibly proud to announce a major safety milestone for Lowery: It has now been two years since our last injury accident. This achievement is a direct result of the positive culture and commitment to safety that is evident across our sites.
