Lowery Ltd have successfully completed the first part of our GRIP 5-8 contract on the Thameslink London Bridge Residual Works Project for our client BAM Nuttall with a brand new Points Heating Installation.
Today we are very proud to celebrate our company’s 70th Birthday. Lowery commenced trading on the 17th August 1950.
In the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic and in these unprecedented times, we have been touched by how people have been struggling at home working and schooling. We, like many people, have realised that we should do better utilising our IT equipment that can no longer support our needs but is still in full working order.
Lowery Ltd have now safely completed and handed back the Design and Installation of 44 Track Feeder Switches (TFS) over 11 Project sites including Demarcation Installation works for our client Network Rail.
Lowery Ltd have undertaken multiple Short Circuit Testing (SCT) on the Track Feeder Switch (TFS) Project sites over a number of weekend possessions. This has been undertaken in line with the company COVID-19 requirements/process with the team. Given the main lines on which the testing was applicable the potential impact on the operational railway was a high risk factor successfully managed and mitigated by the Lowery Project Team. It goes without saying that Network Rail Route, needed to ensure service was maintained for the essential working requirements.
Lowery Ltd are proud to be a part of this project. Continuing to assist Costain to achieve the project milestones safely whilst working under the new COVID-19 restrictions.
