The services offered cover all aspects necessary to undertake telecom utility work in the public highway, such as street works noticing (ETON), liaison with Highway Authorities and compliance with the New Roads and Street Works Act.

Recent clients include Global Crossing, Telent (formerly Marconi), Cable & Wireless, NTL and Energis.

Lowery are currently undertaking a turnkey contract for Global Crossing in the Midlands and South of England, This requires the undertaking of feasibility studies, site survey, route design, route construction and cable installation in preparation for jointing by Global Crossing.

Lowery holds the term contract with Telent for civils installation services on the BT network across Essex. This involves the processing of approximately 5,000 individual jobs per year, the vast majority of which need to be completed within days of receipt to restore customers to service. These maintenance services and new infrastructure build are centred on a dedicated project office located at Chelmsford.
