The Rail Division of Lowery Limited has worked on the rail network for over 50 years. During that time it has become highly skilled in undertaking works in close proximity to an operating railway system.

Lowery Limited holds a Network Rail Principal Contractors' Licence (PCL) (CAC) for Line-side Civil Engineering Works, Cable Route Works and Cable Supply & Laying. The CAC has recently been revalidated until April 2010.

Lowery is 'Link-Up' approved in these work categories and also for the provision of Agency Supply of On Track Labour. The Rail Division is BSI Accredited to the ISO 9001:2008 Quality and ISO 14001:2004 Environmental standards and is also a member of the British Safety Council.

Lowery works directly for both Network Rail and Metronet and as a specialist supplier with major rail contractors, applying its specialist knowledge of line-side civil works and cabling installation.

Lowery has experience in the installation of Power, Signalling and Telecoms infrastructure, conducting surveys of existing systems and designs of new.

Lowery also undertakes works with specialist infrastructure engineers to ensure their trackside cabling requirements are undertaken professionally and with high quality and safety. Lowery maintains an assurance team, with specific responsibility for ensuring full compliance with all Network Rail and Metronet's operational Health & 'Safety of Operations' requirements.
