STEM Speed Career Networking Support
As part of our commitment to giving back and creating Social Value, our Head of HR Nidge Dias, contributed to Space Studio West London’s STEM Speed Career Networking day on October 8th. Helping a new generation of engineers, designers and technical persons to understand how best to shape their career.
Supporting more than 60 pupils from years 10 through 12 and answering their questions about a career in infrastructure engineering on the day, Nidge comments: “the kids were really impressive – thoughtful, respectful, intelligent”.
Space Studio West London is a school that pioneers a bold new approach to learning, which includes teaching through enterprise projects and real work. This approach ensures that students’ learning is rooted in the real world and helps them to develop the skills they need to succeed in life.
The event was organised in association with SPARK! Charity, focused on improving young people’s employability skills. They believe every young person can and should be supported to be ready, equipped, motivated and able to enter the world of work.
