SRE Volunteering Day - Croydon Ecology Centre

Getting our hands dirty today at the Croydon Ecology Centre as part of the Southern Renewals Enterprise's biggest single volunteering day ever in celebration of Rail200!

The Croydon Ecology Centre is not only a valuable education resource for the area but is also a biodiversity sanctuary and home to a wide variety of wildlife and rare heritage tree species. Volunteers from Lowery have been hard at work alongside other members of the Southern Renewals Enterprise (SRE) ecosystem supporting the upkeep of this unique volunteer-led and community-focused facility.

A huge thank you to the SRE for giving Lowery the opportunity to participate in this worthwhile event; we’re glad the rain held off!
