Safety Update Southern Shield Charter 16-08
Following the initial introduction of the DC Isolation Protocol in October last year, it was agreed that the Protocol would be fully implemented from today (1 Feb 16). It is now mandatory to follow this Protocol on all IP Southern worksites.
The protocol can be found as item 4.12 and Appendix C of the attached Charter.
Also, Time Out Take Fives have been introduced on all IP Southern worksites. This allows anyone to call for a pause in the work being undertaken to reassess the working environment and any risks or hazards that are present.
