Daniel Burge

From the foundations of his career through a British Rail Apprenticeship, progressing with further roles within Racal & Thales spanning 15 years, then to date a further 20 years with Lowery, Daniel brings decades of whole-systems direction to delivering power and communications national critical infrastructure for Grid and Transport systems, understanding the whole impact of our works and guiding our project and programme teams accordingly.

Resolutely committed to guiding and enabling our project and programme leaders to fulfilling our commitments and promises to our clients and partners in a safe, sustainable, timely and cost-effective way, Daniel positively challenges our operations teams to realise opportunities and unlock challenges and barriers to greater success. In this way, he energises the Lowery objective of collaborative value creation and leading people to be their best.

As Operations Director responsible for our compliance functions – safety, sustainability, environment – he sponsors our “empowered to challenge” safety culture, overseeing our net zero transition and is an accredited Mental Health First Aider. Daniel leads our inclusive and just operations culture from the front with the ultimate goal of seeing everyone home safely every day, and again tomorrow.
